Traditional disinfectants only do half the job.
Most disinfectants such as alcohol work upon contact and are effective when wet. Most however, evaporate within 3 minutes, leaving surfaces vulnerable to recontamination. The surface is clean only till the next contact is made, or when bacteria or viruses are eventually deposited onto the surface by the environment.
It is not healthy nor feasible to continually wash or sanitise your hands or surfaces with alcohol whenever contact is made. With an estimated 80% of infectious diseases occurring because of contact spread through hands and surfaces, it’s imperative to look for a smarter solution. With Beyond Clean’s QSeal™ Nanotech, we are now able to ensure residual protection of up to 45 days on treated surfaces and up to 24 hours on skin.
How does it work:

Beyond Clean Ultra with QSeal™ antimicrobial technology functions by penetrating and terminally destroying the delicate cell membrane of bacterial and fungal organisms. This is effectively achieved by mechanically setting a series of molecular “road spikes” on a surface, which attract and destroy pathogens through a process known as lysis.
Most other antimicrobial treatments seek to deactivate bacteria and fungi by chemical interaction, which in most instances is only partially successful, thereby permitting bacteria and fungi to develop resistance to further antimicrobial treatments, giving rise to Superbugs.
Our QSeal™ antimicrobial technology does not disable organisms by the use of toxic or chemical mode of action, preventing organisms adapting to it. The mode of action is physical and mechanical, rather than chemical. Because QSeal™ remains bonded to the surface or substrate, it remains ready to defend and protect the surface or substrate from any subsequent colonisation or attack by bacterial or fungal organisms.
Once bonded to a surface, QSeal™ microbial protection and control treatments deliver long term protection for extended periods of time. QSeal™ surface bonded antimicrobial treatments do not leach, migrate or transfer from the surface on which they are applied. Only heavy abrasion or incorrect application will diminish the bond of QSeal™ coatings. This technology revolution provide durable, long term, persistent microbial protection, keeping surfaces and substrates fresh, clean and free of bacteria or fungal which cause odour and degrade the host surface they chose to colonise.
Beyond Clean QSeal™ antimicrobials can be applied to a diverse range of substrates which include natural and synthetic textiles, urethane foam substrates, fibre fill, various plastics, timber, laminates, most metals (including stainless steel), plaster and rigid foam.

Long-Lasting and Durable:
After applying Beyond Clean Ultra, it remains active; physically bonding to create a long-term, durable self-sanitising surface for up to 24 hours on skin and to 45 days on inanimate surfaces. Most surface antimicrobials are only effective for five minutes or less, leaving surfaces exposed to immediate recontamination.
How it kills germs:
When applied to a surface by spraying, wiping or ‘fogging’; Beyond Clean Ultra leaves behind a nano-protective layer that bonds to the surface. These antimicrobial molecules are silane based polymers that covalently bond to the surface creating a bed of positively charged microscopic pins.
The positively charged microscopic pins attract and puncture the cell walls of negatively charged microbes. This causes the physical destruction of the microbes, without the need for harsh chemicals, poisons, or alcohol. The coating of molecular antimicrobial pins continues working for up to 45 days on treated surfaces. Routine cleaning can continue and would not affect the nano-protective layer or its antimicrobial properties.
